Michel Weyland. Original drawing illustrating the beautiful blond heroine "Aria" with her sword and helmet in hand. Rare and quality work. Signed. India ink and graphite on paper. TBE+. 10 X 15 cm Michel Weyland began his career by publishing cartoons in the Belgian weekly newspaper "Pourquoi pas ? "in 1974. His luck turned in August 1979 when he created the character of Aria in his spare time and wrote the draft of his first adventure. He starts again in the newspaper Tintin in 1980, Aria starts her rides and will quickly assert herself as a sure value of the Heroïc Fantasy. If he has always been faithful to the pretty blonde since its creation, Weyland will direct in 1988 a story combining science fiction and fairy tales: "Yvanaëlle, la dame de Mordorez". However, he believes that he will not have too much of a lifetime to tell the exploits of the seductive Amazon and her descendants.
