COFFEE SERVICE WITH BIRDS 2nd manufacture of Ixelles, period Vermeren-Coché (1852-1869), coffee service of ovoid form including: a coffee pot, a milk pot, a sugar pot and 12 cups and saucers as well as 12 dessert plates of form "leaves relief", decoration polychrome birds on branch out of gold, cursive mark "Vermeren Coché Brussels" in blue on cover. Observation: this decoration is inspired by pieces painted a few years earlier by Charles van Marcke de Lummen with birds in black on gold branch.
