OVOID VASE HOUGOUMONT
2nd manufacture of Ixelles, period Ets Demeuldre SPRL (1941-1953), ovoid vase on pedestal. The body of the vase has a bottom painted in imitation wood and a main reserve with the castle of Hougoumont in Waterloo in polychrome painted and signed by "J. Valentinelli", as well as handles crosses with gilded cookie fleurons. Mark with the stamp in red with the reverse: "Ets Demeuldre SPRL, Manufacture of Brussels surrounding an alder, tree symbolizing Ixelles and the B 1833, painted with the hand". HT 37cm. Observation : vase probably made at the time Vermeren Coché but decorated later.
