BRUSSELS manufacture of Etterbeek (1787-1804) pair of cylindrical rafraichissoirs on pedestal, handle barrette taking rise on sheets, decoration in plain royal blue and large rectangular reserve on each side, mark "EB" in hollow on each rafraichissoir. ht. 16.5cm diam. 20.5cm OBSERVATION It is very likely that these rafraichissoirs are unfinished, and that a polychrome decoration had to take place in the reserves as well as an ornamentation in gold arabesque on the blue bottom. No other piece of this type is known to date.
