C. FRANCHI: 8 albums of ZOZO - - Lot 335
C. FRANCHI: 8 albums of ZOZO - The Zozo character first appeared in the children's newspaper Le Journal de Francette et Riquet in 1934 or 1935. Seven albums (large format, soft) were published between 1934 and 1941, and reissued after the war, around 1946-1948. The monkey-like Zozo is accompanied in his adventures by a sailor and a scientist. After having left his mark on a generation of children, the character fell into oblivion among the general public, but is still considered by specialists as a kind of mythical classic. Officer/Explorer/In America (2)/Sailor(2)/Snow King(2). Good condition/used.
